Software Update Information Resource: What was added with release.

Does anyone know what software version was prior to HELIX10CHIRP_SI_GPS_G2N_v1_400 for the Helix 10 SI Mega and have a copy of that software? I am having problems with my Helix 10 SI Mega and my Helix 9 Sonar GPS G1 and Helix 10 Sonar GPS G1 working together.

Ok, I have a HELIX 10 SI GPS and HELIX 10 DI GPS - both G1. I update with the 1.4 update but get no CHIRP. Is this not supposed to update these units?

Did the update description state it added CHIRP capability to the units? I have not seen that stated.

I was under the impression that G1 units (10 &12) would be CHIRP capable. If not the case, my updates would be completed. I did not get a 1.35 update, just 1.4.

They will be able to "see" 2D Chirp from G2N's, but they do not have Chirp added.

The 1st Gen 12's have had Chirp 2D already.

G2 and G2N models have CHIRP 2D and CHIRP Imaging. They also have CHIRP in their model names.

Have new Helix 9 chirp mega si/gps G2N and do not see the I Pilot menu on Accesories tab. What am I missing? I need to link the Helix to the MK Ulterra. I do have the Humminbird bluetooth remote and bluetooth turned on. Kind of stumped. Do I need an update?

Version 1.35 added capability for the new Bluetooth TMs. Version 1.4 has been released since that time. Assuming the version numbers are same as other Helix models, I am guessing you need to update.

LOL...really missed the boat on that one Robert. Guess I was reading Bluetooth TM into the problem. Regardless, still need an Ethernet connection to have functionality with the FF. If it is a Bluetooth TM, need to run latest software on the FF as well.

The cable comes with the ipilot link. Bob

The I-pilot link trolling motor will come with the Ethernet cable ..... you will need it.

I think we're assuming you have the Ipilot/Link Ulterra Model. If that is not the case, you won't see any functionality with the Humminbird FF. If it is the link version, recommend you download a copy of the IPilot Link for Helix Operations Guide if you haven't already got it.

SO, the ethernet cable from the MK Ulterra should already be pre wired with the ethernet cable and I would need the 12" adapter to plug into the Bird?

This is a new BPS/Nitro rig.
