HUGE THANKS to John for spending considerable time on the phone with me today!

We went over options to repair and/or update my older Motorguide Tour.

He had an answer for every question and gave me excellent advice on my options and specifics on how to repair it.

He also had every part I needed in stock.

He will be my go to guy going forward for any product I need that he sells!

Hi John, I'm looking for a new TM prop for this season. Chewed the original up a bit on my x3. Would you recommend replacing the 2-blade or going with a 3-blade prop? Could you PM me pricing on both? Thanks!

Just saw this. Usually look for post down in the bottom part of the page or PM me, but welcome to the boards. I have either prop. They are in the $35.00 price range. Call us at 870 773 3474 to discuss or order.
    Thanks

Mr. Jones I was wondering is there a part number for the piece that holds the wiring harness to the head of my Ultrex.

John, I sent you a PM regarding a 12volt 55 thrust TM for the front of my tin rig. My current tm is 12 years old and foot controlled so I’m looking for a hand controlled 55lb thrust, Maybe the Xi3? I’ll wait to hear from you.

Its a minn Kota maxxum 74lb. Is there anyway to troubleshoot
the motherboard to ensure that’s the problem before replacing?

First check the power in wires to make sure you're getting full power with the trolling motor set to 100% constant. If so, check the power out wires and see if you're getting full voltage out. If so, the control board is good. Remember, test must be made with the motor on 100% constant and plugged into power.

    Thumbs Up

AWESOME customer service. Called Jones about a problem with my trolling motor expecting to receive a standard answer to box it up and ship it. John answered the phone and asked a few questions about my symptoms and gave me directions on how to triage. He was 100% correct and I found my voltage problem in about 30 minutes. I'll be fishing this weekend! You just don't get this kind of customer service these days! Thanks John!

I've been looking to buy a moving trolling motor mount (so I can retract my motor when I'm not using it) and I really like the ShuttleSlide. Seems like a good product. Do you sell this?
