    We've studied all scenarios, & are cancelling the March Event, airing on the side of safety first. With the high percentage forecast of precipitation with most reports and the consistent predicted low temps, we believe ramp icing inevitable along with icing in boats. Travel for many would also pose risk. We just pray that this early decision will minimize inconvenience ans expense as possible.

    Yeah this weekend they're calling for a winter storm to roll across the region.

    IT'll be nice and toasty by next weekend though

    BFL Grand Meeting At Wal-Mart by Kenneth Sutley, 3/5/2014 07:25 CT

    It appears we will have a LARGE field, estimated 175 boats, to get through the meeting pairings. That will be 350 different anglers that will have to sign their liability release forms to fish Saturday. The only exceptions will be those who have already fished an FLW sponsored tournament in 2014. (FLW Major, BFL, Rayovac) It will be a great help if those fishing would show up a little early Friday night and get this requirement completed. Have a great tournament and be safe.
