    USA Storm Project`

    Well started working on the storm I just purchased. Starting with the 1991 Mercury 200hp 2.5L. Changed plugs, impeller, water pump etc etc etc....now today working on the fuel lines changing them out....previous owner had water/fuel separator then glass inline filter and THEN another filter....and the lines are older getting soft and the ethanol....dont get me started....hoping by later today she runs strong....raining now so I had to take a break and come on here

    yes! we have the old style mold and new style give us a shout we can do either one. I even have some of the old dash panels. We had some dipped there on our facebook page storm bass and flats boats, there are still a few originals left.

    Tried today actually....buuuuuuttttttt....my wifes fancy camera memory card was full....no idea how to upload them for her and not worth the risk of messing something up lol....hopefully soon....

    Much work to be done....taking my time in no hurry. Started yesterday on it.....should be fun and time consuming lol....

    Short deck on this boat....will extend it some to make more room up front....started removing deck today and lots of water soaked flotation foam rotten pieces etc....but have to say lots of fun to do knowing where she will be down the road....

    Ok...project up and running again...my sons are ready to fish lol...now if only they can make money...9 and 4 is a little young for the workforce...

    Going to take motor off and flip boat for sanding soon I hope...

    What year is the boat? Looks like early to mid 80's. Also looks like it still rides on the original Ram-Lin trailer. Sweet find!

    91' I wish I had more time to work on it...I work a slightly different schedule now so a little extra time to get things going again. Should turn out nice once its done...

    Ok....some more progress finally! Still have more to take out but really is coming along. Fuel Tank has been removed but figured I would throw up a picture...it has small pinholes that were allowing a very slow leak...who knows for how many years...wood and foam just saturated with fuel...going to remove the engine soon after the last bit of bad wood etc is removed...top cap off and then flipped for paint etc on bottom....

    Where is the foam located on these older hulls? I know around the gas tank and there is a channel along each side that extends just forward of the console that is filled with foam. Is there any in the sides of the boat?
