    Angry ANTS GRRRRRRRR

Has anyone had ants invade their boat? ( little black piss ants. when i went to spray them they were carrying their eggs so they have nested in there to some point. We use the boat ever other weekend so its not like it has set for an extended period of time. If so howd you get them out? I have sprayed the boat with poison then gave it a day to kill them took pressure washer to the boat with some 409 let it dry then it rained for 3 days then let it dry out again. Today i was putting fishing gear back in and what did i see???? M(*&^%($*%*^(*] F$)*^$*^)$*^)* ANTS!!!! should i just spray the boat again and not wash it out like you would around the house? any help would GREATLY appreciated!

Terro... it will take up to two weeks but it will kill them all if they are sweet eating ants.

I opened my center compartment Sat. morning at my first spot and had 1,000 in there. They were under the trolling motor mount last week, Found about 50 all over today. Sprayed , washed and vacummed again today.

raid ant bait (the little houses). Kills them every spring when they invade my house. They eat the bait and carry back to the colony and it kills them all.

When we go camping the wife puts dryer sheets around the camper tires and under the awning legs and they won't come in. Maybe throw a few around in the boxes and it might flush them out, if not at least it will smell good.

Thanks guys ...... i have mixed feeling on that terro stuff. i have tried it in the house, for 3 months and a full bottle of the liquid stuff you put on the cardboard squares and still had ants in the house had to get a stronger spray to spray around the house. ill try it in the boat seeing as there is a much smaller amount of ants maybe there will be better success with it.

I think it is just time for ants to be on the prowl. They are looking all over my house. I sprayed some and put up the ant hotels, just waiting for them to take effect.

    A different form:

My method: Take a toothpick and stir up the yellow bait. Then smear it around outside the little hole.
