Does anyone know the proper procedure to remove the handle from the Quantum PT PRO?

Post a picture if you can of the handle side.
If it's the Energey PT with the titanium finish, I run the drag knob down tight and there is a black ring that you have to pull up on ... located under the reel handle hub.
Correct but you must turn counter clock wise at the same time as you are pulling up. Some can be more of a pain than othersOriginally Posted by Igore67
Both are correct...its a pain if its the old one.
Have to push black ring down with one hand, turn handle with the other...be careful the spring doesn't shoot across the room.
