    Umbrella rig retriever

Anyone have any ideas or seen a lure retriever specifically designed to retrieve u-rigs? Have seen a chain version, but not convinced these would work very well given the component setup. I have tried lighter wire hooks and get some back, but always worry about them straighting out with a couple of good fish. What are most folks using?

You need a heavy one the basspro one that looks like a fish works. I think it's the weight . The trick is to get over it ,and get bouncing

i use a telescoping pole from frabil. it reaches 15' , the rig slides through the coil at the end and it collapses so you can knock it right off.

Bassro has one that looks like a snagging hook with the points and barbs cut off, clips on your line and slides down like a plug knocker. Looks like a good design to me.

on a Budget, so I put a swivel on the L tip at bottom of spark plug and just made the electrode close over the swivel end onto the firing tip, just clip swivel onto your hung up line pull it taught and let the Plug Drop.

This has saved me hundreds of dollars. I have it on a nylon rope on a chalk box.
