    '06 Opti...air injector stuck open, #6 cylinder

Anyone have any experience with this? Got the alarm first start-up of season after changing the compressor.

If you changed the compressor it could have gotten trash stuck in the injector. Although it may not physically be stuck open. It may be saying the circuit is open. It's not hard to take them out and inspect. Don w/ European Marine can service them for you if need be.

Good idea to clean rails/injectors when a compressor failure has occurred.

We can assist with that- see: www.europeanmarine.org/injectorservice.html

Ok. Might not be a bad idea to disconnect that injector (DIRECT injector), and inspect the connector pins. You can also perform an ohms test of the injector (to confirm that the windings are not actually OPEN).

    Don,
Just picking up on this thread. If the ohms test of the injector was preformed and there was resistance what would be the next step assuming the pin connections were good. Can the air injector be serviced?

They can be cleaned and serviced (the first step is Functional Validation testing). For future reference, it's a good idea to open a separate thread for your engine, in the forum that corresponds to your engine's type.
