    xr6 trim bleeding down

I recently bought my first bass boat 1995 Champion 181dc with xr6 150. I noticed the trim angle had bled down a few inches after I was looking at the oil injection pump. Im wondering if this is normal or is the fluid level insufficient. Im sure its the latter of the two. Any input would be appreciated.

First thing to check would be the MANUAL RELIEF screw/valve (located in an opening near the bottom of the Starboard-side transom bracket).

    Flat-head (large) screw driver required.

Loosen SLIGHTLY, snug it down (DO NOT overtighten... it will BREAK).

If problem persists, could be any of the following:

    -Damaged o-rings on relief screw
-Leaking check valve in PORT trim ram
-Leaking check valves in CENTER trim ram
    -Various seal leaks (internal)
    -Weak check valves in pump
