    2003 Yami Vmax 200 3.1

Had this motor rebuilt about 4 months ago. Overheats every time you come in when at idle. Replaced the impeller and no difference. Never did this until it was rebuilt. Any ideas?

Debris in pressure release valve. Its partially open. Clean or replace with a new style mushroom head valve, like the one in a 3.3L hpdi.

I have already replaced it when I had it rebuilt. So you think it clogged up? We will check it this weekend.

Did you replace just the impeller or put a complete water pump kit in.

Check the rubber o-ring where it slides up onto the tube inside the lower unit housing.
