    Question on size/gauge of wire needed on battery leads.

    Think they are 6 gauge multi strand with heavy coating. Don or others will confirm for sure.

    Engine cables (factory installed) are 6ga (Marine-Tinned) cables.

    If extending beyond the length of these cables (such as installing a battery switch)- I'd recommend using 4ga tinned cable between the switch and the battery.
