I own a 2014 Bass Tracker 175txw with a 2014 Mercury fourstroke 75hp, it is not the fourstroke new design but the bigger looking, 2014 style with new decals. I just moved the motor up to the 3rd hole from the too with a 4 blade spitfire X7 17p and it performs amazing. Roms are at 6000-6150 so I just got a 19p havent tried tet but I expect it to be even better. Also I have added tilt steering, navigation lights inbedde in the rubber on the bow. Also I put foam in lid of cooler and ther cooler actually keeps ice better.
Built a step to act as a foitrest and and to be able to strp up to bow easier. I really Love this boat. After raising the motor it made my boat ride and perform so much better. So if your looking for a bit more speed and iverall better performance raise it up. Added Garmin Gps with DV at console and Garmin 7S at bow, looking at Minn Kota Ultrex next.
Buying this boat was one of the best decisions I have made.

Well we've all had to start somewhere and for me it's an early 90's Princecraft BT1500 Pro. 20 HP Merc 4 stroke and Lowrance electronics. It's nothing special but it's great for fishing the smaller ponds and lakes in my area. Just biding my time till I can move up to the big leagues of a glass boat. But hey, I'm still catching fish and enjoying the hell out of it.

That beats the jon boat I had with a trolling motor on it for 10+ years before I bought my Crestliner. I bet your boat has a title that came with it a lot of boats on here don't come with that option.

No doubt you paid your dues to step up to the rig you have now. I was looking at the specs and pictures on Crestliner's web page. That's a mighty fine fishing platform you have there. I wish you the best of luck with it.

This is my 2006 Triton SP-185 with an 06 Evinrude Etec 90. I got her June 1st with only 122 hours on the motor. So far I put the decals on the motor to make her look good, just put a PowerTech NRS3 17p SS prop on her. Installed a Noco Genius 2 which I love! For electronics I went with a Garmin Echomap Plus 73cv with a Ram Mount so I can see it while driving or the front deck. In the mail today came my great looking Stoltz bow roller and end caps. My Fulton F2 winch should be here tomorrow. I have the numbering to match my motor (red with white shadow) that I need to put on. Getting the retractable rod straps in is not going well! I want to put a decent set of rims on the trailer which is structurally perfect but I’m having a hard time finding any worth buying.

This boat runs and fishes great! My last boat was a 20’ bay boat with a Power Pole and a Mercury 150...caught a lot of redfish, trout, snook and kingfish in the Tampa Bay Area but my roots are in bass fishing and I’m back and loving it!

    Crestliner Sportfish 1750 150 E-tec

    1997 Crestliner Sportfish 1750

    Minn Kota Maxxum 101

Because of its age, the projects are endless. In order to mount the Minn Kota 101, I had to fabricate a larger surface area on the bow to accomodate the mounting base. The consoles have been replaced with starboard as the original wood rotted out. I rebuilt the entire transom as the wood rotted out as well. The deck on the bow in the center rotted out, replaced. Putting in the recessed foot pedal, ya that was fun. My trailer is galvanized, so its in really good shape but we have still tricked it out to take the long trips into Canada every year, hence the nickname Frankenstein named by my family members.

Other than what is listed I added Bimini top, Gator Keel Guard, deck and bunk lights. I also added backup lights to the trailer which makes it easy to back at night.

I don’t often see many Smokercrafts on here, but my current boat has been a wonderful rig for the type of fishing I do. It’s a 1014 Pro-Mag 182 with a 2015 Suzuki 140. I bought it new in 2015, and rigged it all myself with a Helix 10 si mega at the console, Helix 9 si at the bow, 80lb Terrova, a 12’ talon and a handful of other custom things. I fish for everything, mainly bass but also pike/muskie, panfish and downrigging on the Great Lakes for trout/salmon. The fit and finish is pretty nice, and it can run as shallow as 12” for largemouths and the deep-v has been in 6-8’ rollers for salmon with no problems at all. Trailers like a dream, trolls for hours and is dead quiet, has lots of mid range torque and I can hit 50mph which is plenty fast enough for me, my wife and 10 yr old. If anyone’s looking for a new rig, I’d definitely recommend looking at a Smokercraft. They’ve got some pretty nice rigs that don’t completely empty your account.

It likes the plate up about an 1.5” and then trimmed out from there. really love the look on peoples faces when a tiller handle bass boat passes them. Absolutely love this boat its loaded with storage the front deck is huge and Havoc builds a really stout boat. I can put this boat anywhere I point it and its a fish catching machine.

    2020 Bass Tracker Classic XL

2020 Bass Tracker Classic XL, 60 HP Mercury conversion from a 50 HP, 14P re-pitched to a 15 Trophy Sport propeller, SE400 hydrofoil, Vance Mfg. mini hydraulic jack plate, Minn Kota Terrova 24V 80 lb. w/ iPilot & spot lock, 24V lithium troller battery, triple isolated battery setup, Mini ACR for cranking and electronics battery, console mounted triple battery voltmeter, console mounted dual Garmin 73SV/ 93SV navs/ Bow mounted 126SV nav, 3 amp dual USB charger retrofit from 12v power socket, 12 gallon fuel tank conversion, center third seat add on, deck extension, ice cooler/ step add on, bow mounted rod tie downs, a recessed foot pedal tray, and a 16 gallon livewell retrofit with a recirc pump, livewell timer, and a recirc/ pump out valve.

Have not owned the boat a full year yet, but has slayed tons of bass off of it and can go anywhere a fiberglass rig can, even a little shallower too. Takes rough waters pretty darn well too considering it's a tin boat. Is the perfect rig for lake and reservoir fishing and fishes great with two people in it. The boat runs a max of 41.7 - 42 MPH @ 5950-6000 RPM.

    2021 Custom Build

Lots of prop boats here, so I thought I would post some info on my new jet boat. I drew up the layout and had it built locally. It’s a 2066, .190 hull with 1/2” UHMW, 250hp inboard jet. It’s mainly for shallow water on the Potomac and Susquehanna, but I do plan to use it on the Chesapeake and coastal bays. The hull is 6 degree deadrise, so it will run in 3-4” of water. But I had the bow sharpened some to handle larger waves (1-2’) a little better.

It has (2) 10’ rod lockers, (2) 40 gal live-wells, a built in insulated cooler, storage for (5) Plano 3700 boxes in the console, and number of other storage compartments. The back rest on the console tilts down to create a shelf with a removable cutting board for cutting bait or whatever. Also has 6 rod holders in the console, and 6 more in the deck.

For electronics, it has a Helix 10 on the console and the bow. There is a sonar/DI transducer on the transom for high speed. And, I have a Mega 360 and Mega SI/DI transducer mounted on a trolling motor mount on the bow for lower speeds. I have a Riptide Ulterra 112 on the bow and a separate 12v 55lb trolling on the transom. Both are fed by dedicated Lithium batteries. Depending on conditions, I can troll 4-6 hrs at 3 mph on a charge. The Ulterra and the Helix’s are connected through the network. I love how I can plot a course on the Helix for the Ulterra to follow. It’s great for trolling for rockfish on the Chesapeake Bay.

With the 250hp Rotax, it tops out at 45 mph. Gets about 4mpg cruising around 30 mph. With trim tabs down, it planes in the mid teens.
