    1.62

    wayne do you think yamaha will come out with a 1.62 gear ratio ?

    No, I tried last year to get some from them with no sucess. That's why I began using the Sportmaster. I still believe the 1:75 will be better on a bass boat as soon as we can get the RPM limiter raised above 6100.

    which would be faster the 1.75 sports master or the yamaha 1.75 sent to titus to lower the water pick ups where you can go up higher ?

    Sprtmaster But it also depends on what kind of boat.......I mean......a boat that will respond to HP and run in the mid 90 to over 100 mph. A while back I had a 210 Blazer with a Phase III 3.1L that would run mid 90s with the stock Yamaha HPDI 1:75 hearcase
