I'll take a different route...how about a 4 day tournament on 4 different lakes? Make the guys really earn their check.

Or, have a split event. Half the field fishes 1 lake 1 day not known for big fish. Other half fishes day on on a different lake nearby known for bigger bags. Then day 2 switch. Day 3 go to one of those lakes, day 4 the other. Cuts down the fishing pressure, keeps the pros working for it.

I'd like to see a complete curveball thrown to them. For an AOY tournament (50 boats or less), send them to some small lake like McConaughy or even a lake in Colorado that they didn't ever think about having bass (kind of like Oahe next year, but smaller). Those lakes aren't big enough to support a full field, and they can be really tough, but you can find decent fish.

NJ because they all would really have to show solid skills to catch anything in our overfished, crowded, and dinky crap lakes.
