    Thanks!
The numbering on a Bob's Jack plate is in inches of plate going up and down. So 3 3/4 is 3/4 inch higher than 3 on the gauge. I just retuned home from Florida and have not been able to measure p to p yet. With the manual plate It ran best at 2.75 to 2.5 inches p to p. I tried as high as 2 inches and also the boat would chime walk at 3.25 and lower. Dealer sent me out at 4 inches p to p and the boat was a real handful. Still very happy with hydro plate!

Thanks for the info - I've moved mine up twice now and I'm up to 3" ptp and it's running MUCH better - 74.5 loaded and less chine walk on the last run. Ill probably move it another 1/4 and try again.

I had a chance to measure the prop to pad tonight in the garage. My SHO likes to run high. With the gauge at 3 3/4 I have a p to p of 1.25 inches. My top speed is coming between 2 inches to 1.25 inches p to p. (3 to 3 3/4 on gauge) Still have plenty of water pressure. It also appears to me that the bobs plate adds 1/4 to 3/8 more setback FYI.

Yep, sorry, that would make a difference... 2014 920 with a Yamaha 250 SHO. Will update my profile to show that in the future.

Ya, I figure the boat would make a difference on the settings, but by how much I have no idea when compared to a longer/shorter boat, and a boat with a smaller motor. Thanks.

Those are great numbers for an 819, probably the fastest I've seen yet. Congrats!

Prior to adding talons I could scrape 71.6 but run steadily at 69.6 tournament load. I added talons and it has given me a lot more bow lift. I am a small guy and was by myself with a light load but had a full tank of fuel.

    2015 921pro XP with a250 Merc pro XS and a 25 Fury
    2 - 10 blades
12" Atlas at 18 on gauge, approx. (I measured ptp at 3-1/4 at 15)
    5900 rpms
    4 lead acid batteries
two people, full tank, loaded with tackle for two guys on a week long fishing vacation in Canada
    73.8 MPH

And I am sure I could get more. I ran out of water.
Finally getting the hang of this baby.

Even more amazing it said at 4,000 rpm, doing about 45-50, I was getting 5.5 mpg.

Got out this weekend for a club tourny. The ride for take off on the main lake was a little rough due to all the wakes being parallel with the boat which i HATE crossing them to get in clean water. So no speed info on that. But on the way back to weigh in it was better.

    2014 619 Pro 200 Merc Pro XS 24 Fury
    PtoP - 3"
    My big ass
    1/2 tank gas
    3 batteries
2 full livewells (wasn't the fish weighing it down )
Water temp around 92*, air temps were in the mid 90's

+/-68.6 MPH @ 5900 (this was the analog gauge on dash, only can think its close to being correct)
for the humid conditions we have down here i thought that it was spinning the prop pretty good.

Over the weekend, i was able to hit 70.....full tank of gas, lw's empty, and just me.....70 at about 5900....river was pretty slick....

Not a lot of 618 numbers out there so I'll put up mine and try to update as weather cools in a few months.

    2017 618, 175 pro xs, duel console
    24p fury, 3.5 ptp, 5hrs on motor
Early morning air 80 degrees, water 86 degrees
1/2 tank gas, empty live wells, light load
    5850 rpms (analog gauge)
67.09 mph top speed, 66.5 steady

Best speed and handling at 2 bumps down from full trim.
