Update 819 with 200 optimax. Ran 71.8 at 5700+ on analog with a 25 fury4. Solo run 3/4 fuel port live well full heavy tackle load. Also running 4 batteries with a 112 hanging on the bow. 3 inch ptp 30lbs water pressure. Was no wind to speak over 70 degrees air and water. Without water in the live well getting on the limiter. Thoughts on a 26p fury4. Afraid it may be lazy getting up. 3- 4 second hole shot with 25p. Thanks for the input.

What kind of jack plate are you running? Mines a pro hijacker z lock. I can't get p2p now but if you have the same plate factory installed, measure 3" down from the top .

I thought about that but doesn't Phoenix put them all at the same if you order a opti with same jackplate?

I get it.....you can get your 919 to 77.....however that is full trim white knuckle speed. My question is how fast can you get your 919 when you are making a long run? What is your sustained speed?

  8. #188
I've only had the boat a little over a month but there's no reason why I wouldn't be able to hold 77 for a long period of time. I still had trim to go and it's not "white nuckle" at all. It's actually pretty comfortable. 75 -76 is very easy to reach.

Tony just fished ABA yesterday with me,partner, livewell full and half a tank of gas and ran 76 without any problems and very stable. That was about a 18 mile run. That is with a 2 yr old river run 25 pitch Fury. I have hit 80 by myself going down the river with the current and very stable. I have a 919 with a Bob's and a ProXS

I have 4 29 series batteries for the MK 112, no poles or talons and as far as load I have the left compartment full of tackle. I carry 18 rods and the center is full of tackle but the lighter stuff. I have my PTP is at 2.75 for speed and I drop the bob's down 1 in for holeshot. I did pick up some rpms as my engine broke in I now have about 120 hours.

This is my exact setup, and I mean exact (except I have poles). same engine, prop, ptp measurement, but I can only get 74mph alone and 72mph tourney loaded with partner. I am sending my spare prop to Mark, is there anything he can do particularly. Is there anything I can do to get my performance up?????

    UPDATE:

    2017 721/ 2017 250 ProXS
    2 8' Blades
36V Mk Fortrex (three group 31 AGM trolling batteries)
    26 Fury Stock
~40 gallons fuel, two guys (~400lbs), my load of tackle plus a little from my co-angler
Water Temp: 66 Air Temp: 72
10" Atlas mounted in second hole from the top, running at 15
    75.5 MPH GPS @ approximately 5850

SUPER happy with that, just couldn't get it again the rest of the day. Had a stiff north wind behind me when I ran it that made the perfect small, even chop that I suspect was part of what helped me get up to speed on that run.

Ive got a 920 on order that will be done next month, 250 pro xs with manual jackplate, what prop do you guys recommend for that set up, the most weight it will have added other than a standard load is 1 talon occasionally.
