You can get the boat manual for free but not the motor you'll need to pony up for that. Not my doing that is how that goes.

Sent you the owners manual for the boat but need to know which model of the 175 you have to give you a link for the motor.

Hello ChampioNman, I am new to this board as of today, and I think its great that you guys send out these manuals free of charge to Champion boat owners. It's not often you find people who are willing to help others with profiting from it in the process. Much respect...

Champion manual sent can't help with the Merc manual.

I have an 1988 XR4, purchased NEW.
From experience, check your battery while idling on muffs to ensure your regulator and rectifier are good and it's charging your battery.
Just found my regulator to be bad and it's nice to be familiar with what's behind the cowl. Also found a bad/corroded wire from my advance module, mounted on top the motor. Everyone says to remove this and chuck it.... So I'm investigating the steps to do so.
