    Service time period question

Im not trying to complain but my boat has been at the Ranger house for 11 days now and I still havnt heard if Yamaha will cover my warranty on my exhaust tuner melt down. Granted it was crappy weather for a few days but I drive 32 miles 1 way and only missed 1 day work in the last 2 weeks. I hate to bother the Ranger Dealer but I sure would like to hear some news or a timeframe or something. My boat is a 09 Z520 but I did not purchase it from them. Think that matters? Am I just being impatient? Got some trips comin up soon and I need to make some changes if Im not gonna have my boat soon. Whats the proper way of NOT pissin off the dealer? What is a reasonable timeframe for a fix to this problem?

Did you ask how long it might take when you dropped it off.

Re: Service time period question (wwc3)

Yes, they said depends on when Yamaha gets back with them after thet tear it down and send them pics to see if its under warranty. I dont know if they have it tore down yet. What seems resonable?
