Thanks for the kind words! I learned a ton from the process and am really enjoying the fruits of my labor. For some reason, I tend to forget the pain when the fun begins. I probaby have a few more restos in me but I can definitely appreciate your position!!! PS...I like your Bullet. Sweet!

Also, do the velocity stacks make any real difference on the carb 2.4's?

I've been fishing a couple tourney's with it ! Well, the vel stacks do a little bit, alot of mod vp's came with them, they don't have an air box. , i run the wh46 carbs so they are tapped to bolt the stacks on. Just kinda breaking in that carb powerhead, it runs nice, no issues, i haven't run her over 6k yet and just a 27p chopper, maybe this wknd i'll bolt the hoss 30p on and wind her up !

Looks sweet!!! I am going to have to save up for more setback and hyd steering. Need to experiment with a better prop too as a Laser II sucks. I cant get past about 62 mph. I have to trim waaaaaay up to get the boat to really loosen up. Also have to add scoops as I lose h2o pressure when i trim way up.

Looks sweet! My is solid now but not nearly as sharp as yours. Looks great! Did you ever run without much setback or have you always had a lot? How about props? What do you run? I have 25p Laser II now.

WOW nice boat! I'm located down in south Louisiana. There was a gentleman down here by the name of Jody sanders that built a bass boat he called a rocket. My brother has one and it is a nice boat. They stopped building them around the year 2000. Wish these boats where still made. Thanks for your post.
