Need some advice R81 or R91

We have a VERY EXTRA NICE R91 with a 200 EFI Mercury that we are selling for a customer, not a mark on it i can find, he is a little high at 17500.00 but u will not find a better used 2000 model rig. The EFI was hard on fuel but as bullett proof as they come.

For that much money, I'd think about selling my R91 with a 2008 Opti, and upgraded electronics and TM.

I've got the exact setup you are looking at. A 99 R81 I bought with a blown 175 Merc, and I installed a 2008 Yamaha Vmax 150 on it. Its a great setup, very strong and fast hull.

My dad bought a '99 R81sport two years ago. Bought it from a guide, he blew the old motor and it was replaced with a 2006 115hp Etec. Runs great, absolutely love the boat. It is under powered with ther 115 though, tops out at only 41mph with a very light load and only me in it. Looking at adding a deck extension to it this year. Then hopefully upgrade the motor sometime in the future to a 150 or 175. Can someone tell me the difference between the R81 and the R81sport?
