CURRENT AND FORMER DYNA TRAK BASS BOAT OWNERS

I have owned a 94 Dyna Trak 180 since 2002. How many of us still own or did own one of these boats? What was your experience. Did you like it or not. Give us some comments.

I done some trading about 3 weeks ago. Went from a 98 Xpress H-56 to a 95 Dyna Trak 180 STE. I'll have to say I'm definitley a lot more satisfied with the Dyna Trak when it comes to sitting at rest & fishing than I ever was with the Xpress. Nothing wrong with the Xpress other than it wore me out when fishing in wind or heavy current. Other than that it was a heck of a boat. Guess I'm just not an aluminium boat kind of person. 10 to 1 rather have the Dyna Trak I have now for sure.

I still own my updated 93 dyna trak 180 sc with a great running 1994 johnson 150v. Smooth ride. Fast enough. I have wide enough decks and the live wells are located perfect. One livewell in the front and one in the back. To get a comparable fiberglass boat today would cost aproximately $40K. The new boat would come with a swing away trailer tongue, Led tail lights, on board 3 bank charger, and maybe something else. My boat came with hydraulics. My only complaint is how the beautiful blue paint oxidizes. I wish I could get it blue again then my boat would be perfect.

Had a 1980 dyna trak 160ss fish and ski. Was a good little boat. Stringers and floor both rotted after 21 years. Sold it, know the people that brought it replaced the floor and resold it.

My 95 180 got totaled this summer when heading to the lake by a drunk driver than never touched the brakes. I now have an 03 Stratos 18XL, but I'd still be completely satisfied with the Dyna-Trak. It was a great boat.

I have a 1984 Dyna Trak 179 with a strong little Mariner 2.0L 150. Replaced the powerhead in 1996, and it still has 140psi on all 6, and spins a 23 Tempest between 5900-6000rpm. A friend of mine bought it new in May, 1984. The gas tank has an inspection date of April, 1984 written on it with a black marker. I've been in possession of it since August, 1984. It's basically a one owner boat. Always garage kept, and it's still rock solid. I replaced the carpet about 5 years ago, and the gel coat still looks like new. I've tried to keep it as original as possible; still has a Humminbird Super 60 on the console. Great boat!

I have a 1995 Dyna Trak STE 170. I love it. It's has a 120hp Mercury Force engine. I'm new to boating. Do see too many of these boats around. Are they good boats? Taking it out next week.
