Got it and I'm glad to hear it!! We've got to have one of you locals tell me who to talk to about catering the Sat meal.

Thanks Larry - I'll check it out. We are going to do it at Bel'Arco's meeting room.

Russ, Sean's is fine dining and quite a bit farther (south of Mtn Home) from Bull Shoals than KT's, but if you want my opinion, KT's is better for our bunch.

I looked at the links and was wondering about that myself. Larry is trying to lay a little "refinement" on us!! I've got a call into Bel'Arco as well and then I'll call KT and who ever they suggest as well. I've got to get it figured out so I can let Trinity Sales and Service (Reclending) know a figure. I emailed the local Marinas but none of them have responded as being interested in being a sponsor. My sponsor gathering magic has not been up to snuff so far and I need to get the banner made in 10-days or so, but heck that's OK - we'll do fine.

We used KTs to cater the BBC Ranger Rally in 2006. They did a darn good job. Of course, that was when KT owned the business after moving here from Baton Rouge. It was KT that won all the BBQ contest awards. They sold it a few years ago to the present owners. I've only eaten there twice since the new owners took over and found it more expensive than previously but still pretty good BBQ.

Bel'Arco also suggested 178 Club and KCJ Grill. Thoughts?

The 178 Club does an excellent job of catering with pretty darn good food. Little pricey though.

    Not a fan of KCJs.

How about BBQ & more? We could do pizza. Any other options? MJ S Catering? We can also just pick a restaurant and go there as well Saturday evening.

I like KCJ's food very much....I live about a mile from them, and me and the misses have eaten there several times....good grub, in my opinion.....178 Club is dang good, too, especially their alligator......yummy...!! Don't know about KT's.....never been there.......but the word is (according to Larry), it ain't too shabby........I guess just pick one......

So should we go to one of the places or have it catered in to Bel'Arco? Thoughts?

If you're asking for votes, mine would be to have it catered to Bel'Arco's......that way everything would be right there, and ready to go......

.....Catered for sure. Russ, we tried that restaurant dinner venue for the Bull Shoals Rally in 2006 and there were allot of people who attended and some were done eating before others had even gotten their food. If you have a catered meal everybody will be eating at the same time. However, whatever decision you make will be just fine.

I vote for catered, if for no other reason than most if not all of those places couldn't really handle our crowd....JMO

Rick...just bought us a couple of those lures guaranteed to catch fish that time of the year. Make sure you bring a net, much easier to scoop 'em in.
