08 Ranger 621 with 300 Verado. Loaded to the nuts with 3 guys about 59.1..... Slower than my 98 Chamion Fishhunter, but alot more stable and fishable.

2004 Champion Fishunter, 225 EFI (jacked a bit, dyno'ed at 245hp) could touch 68 gps with just me.. With my prokicker mounted, full tanks, gear, I can run in the lower 60's.

Previous owner hit 70 with a worked prop, told me never to sell the motor!!!!

GAS milage sucks at those speeds, so I'm usually running 45 - 55 most of the time. Never caught a fish running though.. hmmmm

    Nice to see this forum....

Now I'm off to chase fish with teeth.. Good Luck..

Hi, I have a 2011 Yarcraft 209 TFX paired with 250 HO Etec, on a 6" plate. , I'm still playing with props and have yet to try a Rev4. I am currently running a Power Tech OFX four blade. As far as speeds goes, I have had the boat as fast as 67.4 with a raker 22 pitch, prior to rigging, however the prop spun out coming out of the hole and chine walked really bad. My current prop carries a full tournament load, which includes 5 group 31 batteries, all the storage stuffed full of tackle, and two fat guys. The current wot top speed is 61.1 gps, at sea level. I have been wanting to try a Rev4, however the OFX really runs super good on this setup.

    Regards, Randy

I had a 2009 BCB Baycat/250proxs. It would gps at 66mph with just me in the boat. Not bad for a big boat like that.

Wow that is a good speed, it would be interesting to see how guys have their boats set up for fishing big open water, obviously most bass anglers would not run kickers, rigger's etc... That stuff would add a lot of weight, plus I think walleye guys probably carry heavier tackle than most bass anglers do...

WOT with my 15hp kicker is 6 mph on the GPS. Man, that slicks the hair back!!!

Otherwise I run just over 60 with a 25 pitch Merc High Five on my Evinrude 225 HO.
Pretty good for a big sled.

I never spent any time with setup, but my aquasport, runs 52 mph with a work prop ,merc 150 xr4, it has an 8" th j/plate now, and planes fast,7.5mph with honda 15 4 stroke,It's rated for 225 so, if i wanted it to go faster , it could,it's good on fuel with the smaller 175 hp merc., my bassboat is fast enuff, my fishin' boat is what it is, and with 20* deadrise, fishes 6-8 footers like a dream.
