Waypoint Names Not Always Showing??

I have a Hexlix 12 and I'm wondering why I don't see all of the waypoint names on the map while I'm driving on a lake. Some waypoint names and icons appear and some waypoints you can only see the icon. If I manually move the cursor to that waypoint, then I can see the name.

That is called Waypoint Decluttering. It is the default setting and most use it so their mapping is not covered up with symbols and names. You can turn that off and see if you want all that clutter.
