    Invalid temp

I have a lowrance hds9 that is reading invalid water temp reading on my 3n1 transducer.
    Assuming the transducer is bad.
I unplugged and replugged back in and still get the same this device invalid. I tried a different transducer plugged into that port on hds9 and it read water temp fine.
    Just looking for input.

Stupid thing read fine a week ago.

Did you verify that the data source for temp is selected correctly along with your AI3-1?

Invalid almost never means a bad transducer. Put it in the water, do a hard reset, disconnect and reconnect the transducer. It’s highly unlikely that the transducer has gone bad. It just does not happen that often.

Unplugged and plugged back in several times. Still eventually shows invalid.
Installed new transducer and no problem for 4 days of fishing.
    Think I have it fixed.

But you didn't say you have done a Hard reset?
