i guess im one of the very few on this board that rides them "damned crotch-rockets", ehh?
Threw a leg over my very first one at the ripe old age of 39, at 40, i took it to the track and started racing. Won 3 championships in 5 years, then started coaching and teaching a race school. Currently 54 years old, and just last year sold off everything bike/racing related and started bass fishing.
This was my ride when i sold it last year. *sigh* I still miss it, but what i dont miss is the crazy amount of money it cost to do, and the injuries that inevitably go along with pushing the limits.
