Ripple before i moved from VA in AUG I was stopped twice with these lights on my boat during low light and the law only said how nice they look. I did not get a ticket or even a question about the post light. does that make it legal? NO but I did not have a problem. One time I got stopped it was on Lake Chesdin the other time it was on Chick river near the RT5 bridge.

I was wondering were you got the raised panel that is below the gps? did it come from phoenix? I'm looking to add a mercury smartcraft gauge and I've seen people mount it into that panel?

Good stuff Dave. I think that may be next on my list too. Not sure if I want it there or in the center, or in the mph side.

Put it where it can be seen and miniplicated easy from beside the boat. You won't always want to sit in the boat to say, check the hours, or fuel mileage. Therefore I'd put it in the right side hole.

Thanks Xranger and the right side was chosen because of all the reasons Tom mentioned. Except I didn't put it there for ease of access but he's right on! Thanks gentlemen!

I'm even thinking center mount in dash. Have the Atlas gauge in there now. I can go there 1st and if I don't like it, just fab a new plate.

Center would be ideal but for me with the graph in the middle the right side was the obvious choice for me.
