Traded Ranger Z522 for new 2012 Skeeter 21I!!

Just pulled the trigger on this deal but will not be picking it up for 2 weeks. Hope the boat will be all I want it to be. Thanks in advance for any questions I may have about the new boat.

Hope you have less problems with your new Skeeter as I did with mine!

You will love the 21i and will have a hard time getting out of it! I suffer a temporary bout of depression when I shut the engine off and head to the front deck. BUT, it goes away quickly when you step onto the padding and start tearing them up!

I wont be buying another Skeeter for a long time. 4 years in mine and still loving it, not even toyed with the idea of trading or upgrading.

Traded my 21.9 ft 492 Ranger for a 21 ft zx250. Skeeter is a great boat, fast and runs shallow but the trailer and fit and finish is not is good as my old Ranger. I have a great dealer (Grace Marine) so like some of the other posts....I"ll stick with my Skeeter and I think you will be happy with yours.

Welcome to the family. There are several ex/ranger owners here. Both are great boats, Nothing like a bug

I looked pretty hard at Ranger last year and I don't think the fit and finish of the newer Rangers is as good as your older 492.

if you keep on top of it maitenance wise, you will love it, if you dont check things out (screws, cables etc) periodically you will be dissapointed, they are great boats, great fishability, huge front deck, somewhat fast, good in ruff water, just needs maintaining a couple times a year, if your looking for a set-up let me know, mines a 2006 and i have it pretty dialed in.
