A note to the BBC Suzuki family.....

Just wanted to make sure that the Suzuki forum is more than just a place for us to discuss our great motors. It is a place for us to get to know each other, share times with and just have fun as Suzuki owners. So, feel free to use this place as on open forum, to discuss whatever you feel like with other Suzuki owners.
    God bless,
    Stephen

New to the BBc Suzuki family,
have a 1984 Nitro with a 1989 Suzuki DT65, now it runs great, however when I bought it last spring, never knew of the problems that salt water can do to a motor!!

Re: A note to the BBC Suzuki family..... (TexCaboCat)

New Suzuki owner as of 11/07. 1996 Bumble Pro Vee 180 with a 96 Suzuki 150. Love the motor already. Very strong and pushes the boat pretty good. I do have some set up issues with the boat that is affecting speed and performance. 26 pitch prop and 10 inch jackplate with 4 inch spacers. Topping out around 58-60. Having to watch the rpms as they will wind up to 6000 if I don't watch it.

Not sure if anyone is still here or not???

    Hi Suzuki Family...

I just inherited a 1997 Ranger 518DVS that has a Merc 200 EFI. Since I live in Southern Cal, this motor does not meet the standards required to fish our Diamond Valley Lake. I was wondering about repowering with a Suzuki DF200? What do you guys think? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with these latest in the Suzuki 4-stroke line. Thank you...

Re: Not sure if anyone is still here or not??? (hanapaa90504)

    HI Guys.
Mate ,stop thinking of getting the 200 4 Stroke Suzuki , it will be the best choise you ever make.
Im a Motor Mechanic and have worked on Japanese Cars all my life , I have have looked at the rest , but got the best.
My current ( and 3rd Suzi EFI 4Stroke ) 2009 Df 90 A , is stunning ,Super quite , Super Fuel eficiant , Super Tourqe and great for the Enviroment ( Super Low Emissions ).
Im not sure what you Emission Laws are ,but Iwould be very suprised if it didnt meet or exceed them.
I could write all the Technical reasons why you should but It would take to many posts.
These Motors are Bulletproof and handle the toughest conditions Australia can dish out ,and are prefered now over Yamahah as the Motor of choise by our Marine Rescue Services , Comercial Fisherman and Tourist Operaters.
If you have any more questions , just ask.
I can asure you will not regret owning one.

    P.S Dont Ever get a E Tech .

    Cheers.
    Stu.
