I have a 2010 Bullet 21 XRD with a 4 stroke 250SS. I just picked the boat up a couple of weeks ago and got to put it in the water once. All I can say is this motor unbelievable performance in all ranges. I can't wait till Spring.

I have a 19 foot 6 inch Stratos dual console. It had a Ficht 175 Evinrude on it but it blew up twice in one year and that was enough Blue for me. I bought a 2006 DF 175 Suzuki and installed it on a 6 inch jackplate. It has hydraulic steering. I had to make a new dashboard (speed limit signs are .125" aluminum) and buy a Suzuki tach and do a lot of rewiring, but now I know a lot more about my boat.
A month ago I hit a bolt on a bulkhead support post and wrecked the boat. I am still trying to repair it but it has been too cold to do much fiberglass work. I am turning a 28 inch pitch prop but still need a bigger one. It's no speed queen, but I am basically interested in making return trips. She's quiet and economical. Now if I can just finish fixing the hole in the side, I'll be back in her in a month or so.
This one will run, I really like it a 1993 150 with EFI Bob's lower unit.spinning a 27 pitch and with the Power lift and some trim oh my It will run.
Beautiful boat Cleve. I have a 28 pitch prop I'm not using, hint, hint. I fixed my Stratos I guess it's time to try to get a pic or two of it in here but it's a war horse, not a beauty queen.
great motorIMG_1053.jpgIMG_1368.jpgIMG_1367.jpg

1987 150 V6 on a Ranger 373V......Unlike the rest I have had 2 years trouble free and 3 years of headaches. Dealing with tilt motor now, Haven't seen much water for years Still have faith.
I have owned two Suz. First one was a 140 carb. Ran it 10 years, ran it hard--- never had one problem with it. Second one was a 150 EFI, That would have been 1999 model, I never had any problems with it. Sold the boat in 2002 that owner still has the boat and Suz. I think he had to replace the computer in it. Both of them were/ are well built 2 strokes.
just picked up my new xpress x21 couple of weeks ago w/ a zuke 250ss stealth pushin it. still in the break in and trying to get the right prop combo but so far has been a sweet motor. hole shot is unreal. seein 67mph at 5600-5700 so i think shell b a bullet once its broke in and propped correctly
1991 Suzuki DT 150 on a 286 pro tournament sprint, carb and hitting around 56 at 5900 rpm ,I think it will do more if adjust jack plate
IMG_06981 (1).jpgI have a 1987 Cajun Ricky Green Fishing machine 18.5' long. Up until last Wednesday it was powered by a Yamaha Pro V150. That motor blew up so I decided to pull the trigger and I am taking it in Friday to have the new 150 SS 4 stroke installed. I Can't wait to see how it performs with a new Suzuki!!

My 175 HP 2006 Suzy 4 stroke seems less peppy than the 2 stroke 'Rude I had before but much quieter and better on gas. Both motors were used and the 'Rude is still under the bench in pieces after blowing up twice.
I am headed to dealer today to pic up my boat with my new Suzuki 150 SS on it. I have to take it out to test props and decide which one I want them to provide me. Very excited!!IMG_07001.jpgIMG_06871.jpg
I see you found out you need to at least have a Suzuki tach. It reads the motor computer and tells a lot of info besides R P M. Does your motor still ask you to run non-ethanol like mine does? I hope you find out which prop runs best. Suzy's are designed for a large diameter low pitch prop I M H O. I'm running a 16 inch diameter with a 23.5 pitch on my 175 with a heavy 20 foot Stratos, I can hit 6100 R P M if I want but I generally stop at 5500. I.M me for an absolute killer deal on one.
20150924_184338.jpgThe owners manual says you can run other fuel but recommends non-ethanol. I have always run that when i had my yamaha. I can't wait to get the break in hours done.
