How hard is it to replace the Drive Shaft (BNT3963)?
Lets just say I was a little clumsy and stepped on it lying on my deck and snapped handle off ... broke the drive shaft where the handle mounts. DUH

Not hard if your into working on small gadgets like that.. Just follow your schematic and keep track of the order the parts come off..
Note: Be careful with the "e" clip that holds it onto the retainer.. It'll launch across the room if your not careful (ask me how I know) I'd also leave the spool in it, to try and keep the pinion/yoke from trying to fall out. The yoke springs are also free to fall out, so keep an eye on those as well.. Also, a nice set of small/micro screw drivers is essential, imo, to keep from buggering up the screws when working on these reels. Good luck!

Shouldn't be more than a 10 minute job. It would be a good time to give the reel a good cleaning while you got it apart.
And post this in the Rods/reels forum. Plenty of guys in there that work on reels. Might get plenty of responses.
