My smartcraft shows that my 250 ProXS isnt warming up past about 90 degress. I pulled the tstats and there was no debris holding them open. Where do I need to look next?

So many honey-dos . . . . . so little motivation
Thanks guys, never found any trash but pulled poppet and checked it. Cranked on ears, and it warmed up like its supposed to. Will lake test it tomorrow.
Did you check to ensure that the poppet slid in and out FREELY in it's seat?
Sometimes... swelling/distortion in the poppet or grommet can cause is to hang "slightly open" (this results in lowered water pressure at idle, and a cold-running engine at idle- or in severe cases, overheating at idle).

All it takes is a hair thin piece of wood/debris to foul the thermostats...thus keeping them open and preventing the outboard to come up to temp. Glad you caught it as this is how most folks blow em up!!
