    I just dealt with the same problems in my 206. Turned out some garbage from the bilge had built up in the switch and jammed it.

    My advice: considering the amount of work to get into the bilge on these boats (I have to pull batteries, oil tank, etc..) REPLACE IT ALL while you are in there!! My buddy told me to do that and I ignored his advice. The SECOND TIME I had to pull it apart I did just that - replaced it all!! I was sore for 3 days laying on my stomach head down into that damn bilge area. Next time it needs replaced I think I will just buy a new boat LOL!!!
