    OPTIMAX FUEL INJECTOR CLEANING

Hello, this my first post. Thanks in advance for all info. I have pulled my fuel injectors on my 01 Opti 200hp motors for cleaning and flow testing. Should the screens be replaced in the cleaning process? Also, while the injectors are out, should the fuel rail be cleaned where the injector sat, and if so, what would you use?

Re: OPTIMAX FUEL INJECTOR CLEANING (Cupins)

    Welcome to BBC!

Fuel injector inlet screens must be "spotless". Any debris here can enter the injector, causing improper operation or performance. Replacement, or CAREFUL cleaning is required.

THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL. DO NOT attempt to disassemble your injectors.

Fuel rail cleaning is certainly wise, but this TOO should ONLY be undertaken by a Certified or Master Technician, who has the appropriate tools to do so.

We do offer professional Fuel Injector, Direct Injector AND RAIL ASSEMBLY cleaning services.
