Unfortunately, you will not be able to utilize the later-style rigging fitting with this particular cowling.

Well is there any other rigging available for this cowling?
You're basically limited to this fitting.... or modifying this fitting with an "oval shaped hole" that could accept a piece of the newer-style semi-rigid rigging tube (essentially stuffing the tube into an oval shaped hole).
Not the best method.... but it has been done.

That part number is a 2.5L Rigging Flange kit.... looks like it fit your lower cowling like it was meant to be there.
Any modification required? (It's not listed for any 3L models... would be great to know for future reference)
