Thank you all. The tractor paint was only for the trailer, holding up just fine. I used awl grip for the black on the lower hull with a base / clear coat for the rest of the boat. It's holding up great so far, no complaints and it still looks as if it was just sprayed yesterday. I'm actually amazed at how well the paint holds up to scratches, scuffs. I believe the paint used was Sikkens
Hey man beautiful boat and great work on the resto. Looks amazing

Awesome pics!!! I never get tired of looking at boat pictures, but most of the time, they're sitting on a trailer... or there is a person in the boat (takes the focus away from the boat/surroundings). I gotta say, your pics here really set the focus on the boat... and a helluva nice boat it is! Nice work, sir.
I never grow tired of looking at this boat either, it is one of my favorites!

I know this is an old thread, but has to be one of the nicest builds I've seen. Great work, gives me some motivation to finish my project.
Wow I have been all up and down the resto page on here and never seen this thread till tonight. Awesome rebuild, I am currently doing the same exact kind of project to a 93 Swift. Its a work in progress and after reading all 16 pages of this thread my motivation level went way up, great job and I hope mine comes out half this good.

After reading all 16 pages I would not have believed that boat had ever even been in the water without the pictures.:) I am almost afraid to look at the pictures as so not to scratch the finish.
This my friend is an inspiration and a testament to what a lot of hard work and attention to detail will do for a project like this. You are a true craftsman and even though it took some time all that I can say is WOW.
I would almost drive from Texas just to ask for the privilege to set in the seat.
Wow! I have been coming to this forum for over a year but this post made me join just so I can see more pictures of it.. Amazing job!
