My '85 17 Vee Bullet after installing the '98 Evinrude 150 Intruder.
Not a very good picture with my phone but I'll get my camera out
and take more later ... after it's cleaned up.

I noticed the front looks like it has an extended deck.
I guess it's the angle - the deck looks longer for some reason. Anyway- awesome boat! Hope to see more pics.

The front deck goes all the way to the rod locker.
Maybe someone with a 17 can tell us both. lol
But probably just the angle.
I'll post more pictures as I make headway.
I'm replacing the pumps right now then
making a decision on the trolling motor.
It has an Evinrude 12 volt but I have an Evinrude
12 / 24 I can install. Just can't decide if I want
to add another battery.
T Dub, You had me curious about the front deck and you may be right.
The handle for the rod locker is 10 1/2" from the front end of the rod locker.
The deck measured from the front at the elec control panel down the middle
is 69". I also noticed when I opened the rod locker that the front edge looks
to have been trimmed. As in a not so straight cut.
The deck is also about a fourth of the way past the console while under the console
there is a LOT of leg room. Looking under the front deck I can see quite a bit if the console
going all the way to the floor.
Maybe one of the members here has a 17Vee and can give me some measurements.
OK. I just came back in from checking the deck closely.
The front deck has been extended 24".
T Dub, you have an eye for detail. I would have probably never caught it.
That's cool! The deck on the 17's is really small, but an extension would make it a perfect small bass boat. If you ever decide to sell it in the coming years let me know.

I've been buffing on a Black bullet I bought.
It was in bad shape but after some work it
looking better. I'm not done yet but it's not looking
bad for a 30 year old boat. I also added a picture of
the extended deck on the red Bullet.
The Black Bullet is powered by a Mariner 200.
