    Raise motor an inch and try it.

    If you see improvement raise it another hlf inch.

    Most 20ft bullets run 3/4 to 1 3/4 above depending on prop.

    2013 21SS\2014 300XS L 1.3 DBR 1.75 gears 14"setback-1 1\13 above pad 32 promax-99.3 (interrupted by a 1\4 bolt hitting me above right eye.11-11-16 32 performer 1 13\16 above 66% fuel,me at 295lb and ballast on the other side she ran 100 MPH up-river.there is more there but it takes a gentle hand or it will get upset.The SS is not like other hulls when it blows out,the back-end will wiggle just a little speed drops and the nose falls,it doesnt jerk 1 way or the other it just goes from right to left until you get trimmed down and all the side to side has scrubbed of enough speed.I have had it happen at 75 and 99,its not as bad at 75.theirs more left,just have to be gentle to get it out.

    Wow, NKY Bullet, I have your old boat! I bought it from a fella in Indiana July 2014, It's still in perfect shape and well cared for. I concur your numbers, still running strong. I'm in East Texas around the Beaumont area, and Chris Domino is doing some nice mods on it now as follows..

    Solid mounts, uppers-lowers
    Brucato SVS System
    Fiberglass reeds
    Tuner Mod
    Flywheel Mod
    Swapped to premix
    Titus Nose-cone
    Mercury 28 Lightening ET
    300X Cowl, Pan and Skirt

    Will post pics of upgrades and numbers soon.....

    I'm no expert on Bullet set-up but after reading all the set-ups prior to yours, you're running your engine 1 1/2" to 2 " too low.

    1999 20XD, 2013 175 Pro XS, 12 inch set back, 25 Fury at 3 inches below pad. 5800 rpm, 70 to 72 hard loaded to fish in summer time. I run a 26 Fury in winter time, 5900 rpm, same engine height, 72 to 74 hard loaded. Funny how that works but true numbers. Very easy and fun to drive, fishes great. Takes rough water good, Kentucky Lake. Slow Bullet but a great set up for an Ol Man like me. Mostly keep it between 4000 to 4500 rpm, easy on gas that way. Love my Bullet but really love my little 2.5 Merc.

    Question 2008 21XRD

    Tuesday, I will be adding a 2021 250 Pro XS to my 2008 21XRD.

    Thinking about a Bravo XS 25P

    What would you recommend for the following?

    * Inches below pad = ?
    * Pitch Prop = ?
    * Prop = Tempest or Fury or Bravo, etc?
    * PVS holes = Yes or No

    I've been told that I cannot expect to run my 28P Bravo XS1 at 3/4" below pad with the new Pro XS.

    Recommendations, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Well, thats probably true. I cant run my 27p BXS past 5600 with my new motor. Probably going with 25p BFS on mine instead of XS.
