Are they part of the artificial reef by the employee landing? Yeah I'm sure the generator is responsible for a lot of the mud but when there was vegetation in the lake it was never like this. This lake is ruined and barely anybody fishes it anymore. I heard they put Carp in Iatt not too long ago. Hope the same doesn't happen to it

They put the Carp in SpingBayou around Marksville too!, I think all the ones they dropped off are still feeding within 5 feet of where they were released!

I read where the turbidity is mostly caused by clear-cutting the land upstream. I just went there in July '21 and still the water looks like chocolate milk. Also read where you no longer need a Cleco permit to fish/use the lake. Does anyone ever waterski/jet ski on this lake? Seems like a great resource going to waste- looks free of trees for the most part, Cleco would be wise to create a fee campground for the public and turn this lake into a fishing/watersports paradise! Easy location to access too.

I really miss fishing Cleco. I just can't make myself fish mud when I can fish Kincaid and Indian Creek. From Kincaid this weekend.
