Great service from Don at European Marine

Thanks Don for getting me that new Bravo 1 XS prop so quickly and at a great price. Had it out yesterday for a little bit but the water was a little rough to air it out. If I had a bigger set, (manhood) I would have pushed it a little more.

    Manny:

Do get back and post your results after you've had a little more seat time!

Glad to hear you got the new boat out... be careful out there!

Re: Great service from Don at European Marine (EuropeanAM)

Ran the new prop for 2 day's. Saturday all day long I ran and felt stable to 75 MPH. 80 MPH once and I thought I seen 5000 RPM. Hole shot is really slow from 600 rpm to 3000 rpm then she wakes up and gets the bow down. With the motor tucked in and the jack plate at different height's it did not make a difference.

Steering from 40 to 75 MPH was very nice, I keep both hands on the wheel but I feel you don't have to because there is little to moderate steering torque.

My boat needs a 28P for a TX load and good hole shot.

Re: Great service from Don at European Marine (fishfarm)

That's a tough call- you may find that the 24P Bravo One XS is tight against the limiter.... pretty close to call "blindly".

If you run "primarily heavily loaded".... the 24P would be a better choice.

If you run "primarily lightly loaded"..... the 25P may be your best choice.

You've got an IM on the remainder of your question....

Re: Great service from Don at European Marine (EuropeanAM)

I'm running a 27" bravo1 xs on my xb-21 with 250xs and I love it. Seems like a great all around prop and its about the only one I've tried that gets my boat out of the hole.
