    Bob the insurance guy

Sent him an email to look over my current policy , he called me at work and spent a good 20 minutes explaining insurance and really seemed like a good guy who honestly wants to help fellow fisherman.

Needless to say I was so impressed I am transferring my policy over to him. If I ever have a claim I feel 100% confident that he will do everything in his power to make it right. Not the feeling you get from your typical insurance agents.

    Bob you are the man

I posted this here because im not sure how many people visit the insurance board. If your in the market look him up for sure..

Have any of you made a claim with him. I got a price from him and it was right, but I'm curious about the service after the sale

Is he currently offering Progressive as the best & cheapest route. I know he represents several companies, Progressive is what I have from him from almost 2 years ago. Just wandering if maybe he's pushing a different deal now.

I went with Bob after reading some post on the insurance post. Talked to him and he knows alot about boat ins. Can't remember who he set me up with I'll have to dig it out later just got off dogs and hittin the sack. It wasn't progressive for sure.

Re: Bob the insurance guy (curdog1204)

For those worried about treatment after a claim all I can tell you is call him. I feel way more comfortable talking with him than my normal insurance agent. He really knows his stuff about what coverage you need and how to get claims processed fast and deal with the insurance companies who almost always try to crawfish out of covering your loss.

He is either a good salesman or a really good guy. I am leaning towards a really good guy. I HATE dealing with insurance agents but talking with him is liking with one of your fishing buddies..

I have talked to him and he does seem to be a good guy. You said he knows how to get claims processed fast. Have you filed a claim with him? Thats what I was wanting to know.

No I am in the process of switching now but if you check out the insurance board they have several guys who have. He is just the type that will go to battle with the insurance companies for you. Most insurance companies suck but having a good agent can go a long way.

Re: Bob the insurance guy (SUSHII)

My other boat was with Allstate but switched to Bob after reading the Ins section and got better coverage for less $(thru Progressive) My new boat was written thru a different company(cant remember) but was cheaper than progressive. He writes thru them for higher priced boats.

I hope I never have a claim but i feel 100% confident in him.
