And it's not real good. He's been down in his back. 2 epidurals in 3 weeks, with another MRI scheduled. If things don't improve, they may have to operate. Rob isn't the kind of person to brag or complain, so if he's going through all this, you know it's not good. Keep Rob in your prayers.

That's for sure Alan-Rob isn't one to complain or want sympathy. I know the last time I was over there he was having back problems-must have gotten worse. Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks Alan for the update,,,,,, Hang in there Rob, I KNOW & can A-TEST what you are going though my friend........I have been down myself for the past few months too! It's not fun having the wife help you out of bed to the bathroom in the mornings before coffee time!

I still have not been in the Toon because of the ole back.....

Rick-didn't know you had back problems as well. Seems to be a common thing among oilfield hands. After 28 1/2 yrs. in the oilfield my back has said enough is enough. I was told by the Dr. a few days ago no more 4 wheeler riding, no more boat rides (at least in rough water) and no more getting on a lawn mower. I laughed and told him the lawn mower wasn't a problem and I could probably get by without the 4 wheeler, but the boat thing we would have to talk about. You and Swatdawg hang in there. Hey Eddie,

I have allmost 30 years in the oil patch, yesterday made 30 years with the same company I work for now......
The funny part or sad part is, that after all those years, I hurt my back 2 years ago working with the wife in the front yard doing my husand duties..... I didn't go get it checked, just being hard headed, had problems for a few months, then it went away, every now and then, it comes back to see me, but the last few months has been very bad.......We have done, cat scans, mri's, and a pet scan, and it seems that they can't find whats causing the problem..... the bone cracker doctor has done more for me in the past few months than the Medical field has done......

Rick-If I was still working I would have had 29 yrs. in with the same company the 10th of Jan. My company sold out this year and the new company didn't hire me because I have missed so much the past 2 yrs. with my back. I had back surgery a year ago Aug. and the Dr. told me I had too many things wrong with my back and there was nothing else he could do for it. So I strictly preach now.
