Is this still correct? -IZFR6J (NGK)for 150/175/200 ProXS (200 ProXS Serial #1B912786-up) & 225-250 ProXS and Racing XS Motors
-2006 & prior ProXS: .032-.033"
Just want to make sure. My service manual states that the gap should be 0.038". S/N: 0T999280.

I have a Pro XS "Optimax". Is that considered part of the "only Optimax" family when adding Premium Plus to the fuel?
Also, the 150:1 ratio has me a little lost. Math was never my strongest subject. 40 gallon tank. If I'm breaking that down to 128 ounces per gallon that equates to 34 ounces of Premium Plus in a full tank of gas. Do I have that right?
I am waiting on installation of a new 225 Pro XS so no serial number. I have always made non-ethanol fuel the first criteria when buying so my question is, which is more important, a non-ethanol fuel or a top tier fuel? I don't know of any ethanol free fuel available that is top tier so I have to make a choice.
Direct from the FAQ
Fuel Selection:
Make your fuel selections based on the following criteria, IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER:
-High Traffic, Top-Tier (Name Brand) Fuel
-Appropriate Octane Rating (see above info)
-Lowest possible ethanol content (NEVER to exceed 10%).
-While it may be preferable to utilize a fuel that contains lower (or no) ethanol, use of fuels that are SUBSTANTIALLY higher octane can result in decreased performance, decreased fuel economy, and potential for carbon buildup. Higher octane fuels burn SLOWER and COOLER.

Don or Savage, I have a 2004 200 EFI 3 Literserial number is 1B010821, am I correct that the plug number is QL77CC OR 941M WITH A GAP OF 0.40
I have a 2003 250XS. I will run the cocktail recommended by Don. Question is, should I run the 150:1 pre-mix for injector lube? Wasn’t sure if the XS was considered an Opti. Thanks!

Okay, I'm completely baffled. The more I learn, the less I know. I have six NGK IZFR6J plugs for my ProXS. I am relatively confident those are the correct plugs for my Opti ProXS. I bought the boat new in '08. Pretty sure the ProXS is at least an '07.
Owner's manual says gap at 0.032". The plugs are gapped at about 0.032". The FAQ here says 0.042" to 0.044" for '07 and newer 225's.
Gap them at 0.042", right?
