I posted this in the Pennzoil vs. XD-100 and Rusty keeps deleting it and now it is locked.
This is everyones right to know.
The XD-100 is made by Infineum USA in Linden NJ.
The XD-50 is made by Citgo Petroleum as is Superguard, Mystik, Yamalube, and many other Evinrude products. I would not be surprised if the XD-100 is not also made by Citgo by now as my MSDS is a couple of years old. Citgo does make quality lubricants.
As an oil dealer I keep this kind of information handy for reference.
This information is available to all by asking for a MSDS from your dealer. Any HONEST dealer will be happy to provide you with one.
Honesty also comes into play when a dealer tells you that your warranty will be void if you do not use their oil. If this happens you should be ready to ask them if they will GIVE you the oil in gallons or drums because that is what they will be required to do per the Magnuson-Moss Act.
