Went out with a guide in California Johnny "Spookman" Chiarpotti from Sonora, Ca.
He is a cool kat that knows fish patterns; I got a little west coast schooling. They really have a lake chalked full of spotted bass. We caught 50+ yesterday with only two being largeheads, our the best two where 6.05 and 4.78 on his digital scales. These fish wher pre-spawners moving up, the blood on the big girls tale is from my thumbs! Those big spots are tough!
