Try putting your phone in the oven on low for a few minutes. I know it sounds stupid, but its already junk, so whats the harm. I have seen it work on laptops that got wet.

It saved my cell phone a few months ago, i did the same thing.
If you need a phone to use asap, Go to walmart and get a go phone for $14, put your sim card in and you'll be good to go. It won't look like much but you'll have a phone to use tomorrow.

make that dried rice...don't really want your phone smelling like refried beans and rice but the rice does work.

Russ,
I have a Motorola Razr you can have for free. It works fine, but the brightness is turned down (or off, or maybe even not working) and I can't see the screen clear enough to change it.

Thanks guys, I have an old phone that I am using now so don't need the Go phone, but this phone sucks and I was just looking to get another flip phone in decent shape...I will probably just get one like I had off of Ebay...
I have a like new ATT Razor that I've had sitting on charge for almost a year. I think I used it for a year? The wife bought me an iPhone earlier this year and I just hung onto the phone "in case". Phone, both chargers, what's it worth?
Just bought a AT&T Razr gophone for 50.00 last night @ wal-mart..It had been 99.00 and was on clearance, so thought it would be worth it.

They are still 99 here. I would buy one for my wife for $50

The over thing works well, but I'd recommend longer if possible like here - http://bassinblog.richlindgren....aspx

Wish I'd known you needed one , I gave my Razor to my wifes co-worker yesterday. I've got an old Nokia but it's not a flip phone you'd be welcome to it if you think you can use it.
