How to be a member of the OH/IN/KY Bass Club on BBC

To be a member of the OH/IN/KY BBC Bass Club, you must:

-Be a BBC member in good standing. In other words, registered and not banned.

    Who we are:

-We are BBC members who are from OH, IN & KY.
-Some of us have Bassboats, Fish&Skis, some are non-boaters trying to learn.
    -We all love to fish.

    What we do:

-We share information about boats, lakes, fishing, and anything else you can think of.
-We sometimes get together for "mini-rallies". These are basically small tournaments that are mostly for plaques with very little money involved.
-We sometimes get together individually for a day or two of fishing.

    OH/IN/KY BBC Bass Club Facts:

-Most of us did not know eachother prior to joining BBC.
-We have one big Rally each year. For the last two it has been at Rough River Lake, KY.

Maybe this should be the OH/IN/KY/TN forum..........why doesn't TN have one, there are sure enough members for one.

There are a ton of TN members. They are all welcome in here. It took me a year to get Al to add OH to the forum. Somebody else may have to pressure him on this one. pretty soon we will be the Midwest/South BBC Club.

& another 25 to get Daleo to added OH to the plaque........

Do you guys think it would be too much to have the TN members added?

So, there is no money involved in becoming a member of the oh/ky/in/tn forum? Are you guys having a mini rally anytime soon? Drew.

No money whatsoever. We are going to Rough River Lake next weekend. For those who are staying Friday night, we are going to be at the Pine Tree Inn near the Dam. We will be putting in at the Dam right at daylight Saturday morning 2-18. You are welcome to join us

We fish for plaques. We pretty much paid for the set up last time so plaques will cost each guy around $2 each. We will then offer a Big Fish side pot which is optional.

And Pat, I am all for it, however it may look better as the Mid-America forum and have a subtitle like, Members from IN/OH/KY/TN

Hi ya Fellas, Would ya have room for a newly retired Hoosier. I fish Lake Monroe a bunch and a hand full of other Ind lakes. Most of my fishing buddys still work and iv'e been having to go it alone.
I read this board dang near every day and enjoy reading some of the antics that go on. Maybe some day soon i can get in on one of your Rallys and put a faces with the names.

If you are wondering what this club is about read this post.

First off just coming on this board and posting is how you become a member.

Second attend a rally so you can put a username with a face. I highly suggest coming to our smaller rallys at first like our Mini Rally's at Barren and Dale Hollow. This is for those who might be a little intimidated. The big rallys are great as well because we have members from Canada, Wisconsin, Virginia, Tennessee, and other states come down however they might be a little intimidation for some.

    What we are all about:
Playing poker, drinking refreshing beverages, smack talking, fishing, and having fun!! This club is not a die hard serious club rather a club about making new friends and sharing information. Granted come rally time its tough to get info on the lakes we fish but the rest of the time everyone just wants to help each other have success on the water. Even if you don't have a boat we have plenty of guys who can use a partner so you don't have to own a boat to join.

I just joined the group last year right before the spring rally. I went to the mini rally at Barren then a trip to Dale Hollow in the winter. It was a blast!! Now when I go to any lake I post about it and usually meet some other BBC members while I am there. I have even had members offer to let me use their boat instead of dragging mine all the way down to these lakes.

The wealth of knowledge on these boards is amazing!! Just over the past year and a half I have learned more about fishing than my 30 years prior. From GPS, Sonar, Motor Height, Prop Size, Tips, boat care, you name it information can be found somewhere on here.
