Re: If you are wondering what this club is about read this post. (Slow Rollin)

Well alright!!! I just noticed that TN had been added to this club board. I've been curious to know why there were no TN Bass Club info on the BBC, especially since I see a bunch of posters from TN. I've recently joined another bass club here in the Nashville area (Nashville Bass Angler - http://www.nashvillebassanglers.org) after taking a year off from fishing due to back problems. I occassionally contribute my money to open tournaments, but really prefer the commraderie one shares in the club environment.

I'm glad to see that there will be mini-rallies around the region and will try to get to some of them.

Unlike most of the folks here, I'm more of a lurker than a poster, gleening information and enjoying a chuckle or two from the free wit and humor found at the BBC. Someday I'll get around to asking Al to help me with a siggy like others.

Anyway, you can me in as membert too!

Tony, we really need to have some mini-rallies in Tennessee. The fishing is incredible down there and it would be a nice change.

Re: If you are wondering what this club is about read this post. (mikedaleo)

Sounds good to me. There are so many quality fisheries in middle TN:

Priest, Cumberland Rive, Old Hickory, Dale Hollow, Ky Lake/Lake Barkley, Tims Ford, Center Hill, Normandy, and a couple of others I forgot the names for.

In midwest TN, there are a couple of smaller lakes (900-1000 acres) that have some real hawgs in them. One of them you would know a Lake X from the BassMaster magazine's Day on the Lake with a Pro articles -- Beech Lake in Lexington, TN. A bass club I used be long to fishes Beech and Pin Oak a couple of times each year and some huge LM are caught each time (Mar 04 an 11# LM was caught by a club member at Beech Lake). Pin Oak is part of the Natchez Trace State Park and has some great fishing and a hotel to stay at on the lake.

These would be my recommendations for a Tennessee rally for a Saturday/Sunday 2-day event.

    have a good one,

This sounds like a great opportunity to meet new people and fish some new lakes. Count me in.

    Hi folks...

Just got my first boat of my own and live in the Southern Indiana area by Patoka Lake.

A bad day fishing is always better than a good day at work!!!

Do you ever have mini rallys on Barren River Lake? I love to fish , just not very good. Used to to fish when I was very young but didn't start back up until about 6 years ago. Started again fishing creeks and Barren River. When I got this boat a couple years ago I now spend about 30 days a year on Barren River Lake.
