anybody added a backup solenoid?

I have a 98 single axle triton trailer with drum surge brakes,
Id like to add a backup solenoid, sick of jumping out every time I have to reverse to turn the dial. Its a UFP trailer, my question is anyone added a solenoid system and how much work and cost? Thanks
