I use a good wheel cleaner and brush till they are perfect, using a toothbrush for the little nooks. Then I use Bass Boat Saver every time I pull the boat out of the water.
Skeeter wheels are clear coated.
Don't use anything abrasive. Car wash or Simple Green and elbow grease.

AHHHHHHHH so that is what is on my wheels. It is peeling off. My trailer is a stratos single axle.
If your clear coat is peeling have it fixed before the wheels oxidize.
